Glorious sunshine down to the coast but the first sign of a winter's temperature..
Lunch was taken in Titchfield Harbour Nature Reserve Visitor Centre apart fron Jon and Bruce who did an extra mile or so in the Haven to see Maureen's bench.

We saw plenty of pigs. Scaled all three Devils Humps. Visied the shop.
The Horse and Groom West Ashling was an excellent venue for the 'après'.

Rain in the early morning kept the throngs away but as usual, at the gun, the skies cleared and we had a rain free walk in mild and autumnal conditions.
We visited Bramshott Village, Conford, the river Wey, Ludshott Common and Waggoners Wells.
The Links Tavern at Liphook was an excellent venue for the 'après'.

11 walkers started; 9 finished. Sleet and Hail for 40 minutes and then mud mud mud and paths turned into rivers.
Shoe Inn was good for a hot lunch. Conditions improved underfoot and overhead for the return leg.

Visited Portchester Castle and Salt Café where service was a bit slow so planned route around Cams Golf Course abandoned in case we missed the 4pm curfew in the car park. We can go back and do it another time.

20 walkers. Lovely bright day despite poor forecast. The route would have been muddy were it not for sharp frosts over the previous 3 days. 5 Bells busy with a funeral wake so went to the White Hart in South Harting. Good pub grub!

The forecast was terrible but in the event the 15 who turned up were blessed with less wind and rain than expected.
The walk was 7 miles and we either had lunch in the Punch Bowl NT café or the pub.
